伊勢神宮　Ise Jingu is a must-visit. It is the most sacred shrine in Japan, with great spiritual and historical significance; in fact, some residents of Ise City will even tell you that every Japanese person knows of Ise Jingu, but not a lot of them have heard of Ise. The city of Ise, located in Mie Prefecture, is about two hours from Nagoya. The Inner Shrine, 内宮Naikū (also officially known as "Kotai Jingu"), is located in the town of Uji-tachi, south of central Ise City and is dedicated to the worship of Japanese ancient god 天照大神 Amaterasu-omikami.  神宮 = Jingu =  residence or palace of god

福島　　　　　　　 (kanji) ふくしま　　　　　 (hiragana) フクシマ　　　   　 (katakana)  現在、全世界で最も知名度の上がっている地名の一つは「福島」だろうと思われます。原発事故のあった場所として 「チェルノブイリ」と同等に恐れられる地名として全世界に発信されています。　しかし、福島が、日本が、この逆境を必ずや乗り越えることを多くの人が信じています。　復興は遅れています。　長い時間がかかります。　しかしこの福の島、「福島」に再び神様の祝福が届くことを、また「福島」が発信地となって世界に福を発信する日が来るよう、 毎日祈ります。 Currently, one of the most known city worldwide may be "Fukushima". This city is submitted to the world as a place where a nuclear accident occured.  However, many people believe that Fukushima will overcome this adversity. The reconstruction is delayed and it is taking a long time than expected. But as the city name shows, "Fukushima" will become again the "island of happiness" ("Fuku" means happiness, "Shima" means island) and will be the place where transmits a lot of happiness to the world.  We pray every day so that such a day will come as soon as possible.

心　　　　　　　 (kanji) こころ　　　　　 (hiragana) ココロ　　　   　 (katakana)  corazón             (español) heart                 (english)  しばらくぶりに日本へ行ってきました。私が滞在した街は震災前と変わらない活気で、人々は懸命に働き、常に最善を尽くしていて、それでいて謙虚であることに心を打たれました。ただ、夏休みであるのに、子供たちが部活、塾、宿題でがんじがらめの生活をしていること、大人たちも夏休みが一週間ほどしかなく、緊張を強いられている生活をしていることに心が痛みました。日本人は本当にがんばっています、がんばりすぎだと思います。 夏休みくらい、ゆっくりと、こころとからだを休ませてあげてほしいものです。夏休みが２ヶ月以上続くヨーロッパが良いとは決して思いませんが、ヨーロッパ人の休みへの情熱、切り替えの巧みさを見るにつけ、優秀な日本人に唯一欠けているのは「休むこと」なのではないかと思う今日この頃です。
